Daniel began dancing at the age of nine when he joined the drama team at the Boys & Girls Club in inner city Chicago. After spending a year training with the Alief Jazz Ballet in high school, Daniel began developing his choreography skills at Sam Houston University. While there, he taught and performed for ACDFA as well as numerous workshops and concerts before graduating with a Bachelors in Photography. He also co-founded the Chi Alpha Dance company and produced and choreographed two full length concerts.
After moving to Dallas in 2005, Daniel taught hip hop at several dance studios before taking a break to pursue his graduate degree in 2011. He now holds a Masters in Ministerial Leadership from Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University and works full time as the Elementary Pastor at Bent Tree Bible. Daniel also works with The Mentoring Project on initiatives that help rewrite the story of the fatherless generation and serves on the Executive Vision Board for the Place Conference.
He and his high school sweetheart, Marquita (Fusion Company Director) have been married 10 years and live in McKinney with their two daughters, Emmy and Elle.
